Supporting Veterans and Their Families in Rural Indiana

Founded in the fall of 2025, Rural Indiana Veterans Alliance (RIVA) is a community led 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to veterans in rural communities throughout Indiana. Our mission is to ensure our veterans have access to the services, care, and benefits they deserve. We build partnerships with local service officers and agencies, advocate for improved access, and preserve veterans’ legacies for future generations through oral history preservation.
