RIVA is proud to partner with Blumling Lawn Care to honor and support a local veteran in need through a complete lawn makeover project, Operation Homestead.
This collaborative effort is rooted in gratitude and service— providing assistance to a local veteran who may be facing challenges that make maintaining their property difficult. Whether due to age, disability, recent loss, financial hardship, or other life circumstances, this project seeks to ease that burden while recognizing their service and sacrifice.
Through this initiative, community members are invited to participate by nominating a deserving veteran. Nominations may be submitted by fellow veterans, family members, friends, neighbors, or anyone in the community who knows a veteran whose situation would benefit from this support.
Once selected, the chosen veteran will receive a full lawn transformation, generously provided by Blumling Lawn Care. This may include mowing, trimming, edging, debris removal, landscaping enhancements, and general yard revitalization—restoring not just the appearance of their property, but also a sense of pride and care.
Beyond the physical improvements, this project represents something deeper: a visible demonstration of community appreciation, unity, and respect for those who have served. It offers an opportunity for the public to come together, give back, and ensure that no veteran feels overlooked or unsupported.
